Libby Island Light

Description: Lighthouse (1822) constructed 91' high of granite. Many shipwrecks were caused by the bar between this island and the larger northern island. In the last half of the 19th century, there were 38 major shipwrecks in Machias Bay. On National Register of Historic Places. Micmac Farm Country Inn
